Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

AMIOLOGY — a brand of Aries Inc Ltd

Last updated: 28 August 2026

1. About This Policy

This Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made through ariesincltd.co.uk.

This policy explains your rights when cancelling an online order, returning goods, or reporting an item that is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or affects your statutory consumer rights.

2. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact AMIOLOGY as soon as possible.

You can contact us by:

If your order has not yet been dispatched and can be cancelled, we will cancel it and refund any payment already taken.

If your order has already been dispatched, your statutory cancellation rights may still apply as described below.

3. Your 14-Day Right to Cancel an Online Purchase

If you purchase goods from us as a consumer, you will normally have the statutory right to cancel your purchase without giving a reason.

You must notify us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.

Where an order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the cancellation period runs from the day on which the final item is received.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly notify us before the cancellation period expires.

You can notify us by:

You are not required to use our Returns Form in order to exercise your statutory right to cancel.

4. Returning Goods After Cancellation

Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your cancellation.

Please complete our Returns Form or contact AMIOLOGY before sending your return so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.

Where appropriate, we may also provide a return shipping label.

Please package returned goods securely and include sufficient information for us to identify your order.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind cancellation.

5. Condition of Returned Goods

You may inspect and handle goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way that you would reasonably inspect an item in a shop.

You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession.

We may reduce the amount refunded where the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Where reasonably possible, please return the product with its original packaging, accessories, instructions and other items supplied with it.

6. Refunds Following Cancellation

Where you validly exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund payments due to you in accordance with applicable consumer law.

We will make the refund without undue delay and normally no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods, or after you provide satisfactory evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs first.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence that they have been returned.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.

Where you paid an original delivery charge, we will refund the cost of our standard delivery service.

If you selected a more expensive delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of our standard delivery service.

7. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Goods

Your statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods are separate from your right to cancel an online purchase because you have changed your mind.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:

  • of satisfactory quality;
  • fit for purpose; and
  • as described.

If goods do not meet these requirements, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction, depending on the circumstances and when the problem becomes apparent.

Consumers normally have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods where the statutory requirements for that right are met.

After this period, other statutory remedies, including repair or replacement, may apply.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.

8. Reporting a Fault or Damage

If your product is faulty, damaged in transit, incorrect or not as described, please contact AMIOLOGY as soon as reasonably possible.

You can:

Please provide your order details and a description of the problem.

We may ask for photographs or other reasonable information to help us identify a fault or investigate damage with the delivery carrier.

Any request for photographs does not affect your statutory rights.

Where goods are faulty, damaged or misdescribed, AMIOLOGY will meet reasonable return costs where required by law and provide the appropriate return instructions.

9. Exchanges and Replacements

Where appropriate, we may offer a replacement or exchange instead of a refund.

For faulty goods, your statutory rights determine when you are entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or price reduction.

Any replacement or exchange offered for convenience does not reduce or replace your statutory rights.

Replacement products are subject to availability.

10. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel

The statutory right to cancel an online purchase does not apply in certain circumstances provided by law.

This may include, where applicable:

  • goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
  • goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery; and
  • other goods or services excluded from the statutory cancellation right by applicable consumer law.

These exceptions do not remove your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.

11. Refused, Unclaimed or Undeliverable Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us because delivery could not be completed, we will review the circumstances and contact you where necessary.

If the delivery address supplied with the order was incorrect or incomplete, additional delivery arrangements may be required before the order can be sent again.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

12. How to Start a Return

For the quickest return process, please use the Returns Form available on our website.

You will normally need to provide:

  • your name;
  • order number;
  • email address;
  • product being returned;
  • reason for the return; and
  • details of any fault or damage, where applicable.

Once your request has been reviewed, AMIOLOGY will provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.

Using our Returns Form helps us process your return efficiently, but you are not required to use the form in order to exercise a statutory right to cancel.
