These Terms and Conditions apply to orders placed through our website.
Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version applicable to your order will be the version in force at the time the order is placed.
These terms are written in English and any contract between you and us will be concluded in English.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied by us must be:
Consumers purchasing goods online may also have cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Where your statutory rights provide greater protection than these terms, your statutory rights will apply.
The products displayed on our website constitute an invitation for you to place an order.
When you place an order, we may send you an acknowledgement confirming that we have received it.
We may refuse or be unable to accept an order where, for example:
If we are unable to accept an order and payment has already been taken, the relevant payment will be refunded.
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).
The total amount payable, including any applicable delivery charges, will be displayed before you complete your order.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices displayed on our website are correct.
If we discover an obvious pricing error before dispatch, we may contact you and offer you the option of purchasing the product at the correct price or cancelling the order.
Payment is processed using the payment methods available at checkout.
Payment services may be provided by third-party payment providers including Stripe and PayPal.
We do not store your full debit or credit card details.
We deliver within the United Kingdom to destinations supported by our available delivery services.
Available delivery options, estimated delivery times and any applicable charges will be displayed during checkout where appropriate.
Some destinations, including remote areas, islands and certain parts of Northern Scotland, may require alternative delivery arrangements or additional delivery charges. Where necessary, we will contact you before dispatch.
Unless otherwise agreed, goods will be delivered within 30 days of the contract being concluded.
Delivery times shown on our website are estimates unless expressly stated to be guaranteed.
Goods become your responsibility once they have been delivered to you or to a person nominated by you to receive them.
If you purchase goods from us as a consumer, you will normally have the statutory right to cancel your purchase without giving a reason.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.
Where an order consists of multiple goods delivered separately, the cancellation period runs from the day on which the final item is received.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us clearly before the cancellation period expires.
You may notify us by:
You are not required to use our Returns Form in order to exercise your statutory right to cancel.
Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us.
Please complete our Returns Form or contact us before sending goods back so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
Unless otherwise required by law or agreed by us, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind cancellation.
Where you paid an original delivery charge, we will refund the cost of our standard delivery service. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the standard delivery cost.
We may reduce the amount refunded to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Certain goods may be excluded from the statutory right to cancel where an exception provided by law applies.
Where you validly exercise your statutory cancellation right, we will refund payments due to you in accordance with applicable consumer law.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have supplied evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
Please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy for further information about our returns procedure.
Your statutory rights are separate from your right to cancel an online purchase because you have changed your mind.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
Where goods fail to meet these requirements, you may be entitled to statutory remedies including a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction.
Consumers normally have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods where the statutory requirements are met.
After the short-term right to reject has expired, statutory remedies including repair or replacement may apply.
Where goods are faulty, damaged or misdescribed, we will meet reasonable return costs where required by law.
Please complete our Returns Form or contact enquiries@ariesincltd.co.uk so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
If an item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We may ask you to provide photographs of the product and packaging to assist us in investigating the damage.
Any request for photographs does not affect your statutory rights.
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications and images displayed on our website are accurate.
